THEBP supports the education, training and development of young people by building partnerships between 66 primary schools in the Borough and businesses in the City and Canary Wharf. We recruit volunteers to support pupils with their key skills, as well as develop confidence, and act as a positive role models.
Reading Partners is our most popular scheme, where business volunteers support pupils with reading and comprehension for 30 minutes, on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Many schools also have Number, Chess Partners, which follow a similar model.
