The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.
This money is allocated to schools based on the number of pupils who are eligible to Free School Meals (FSM).
The governors’ pupil premium policy can be found here.
Please read the reports below to see how this money was spent and the impact it has had on raising achievement for children who are eligible for pupil premium funding.

For the financial year 2026–2027, our school has been allocated £215,450 of Pupil Premium funding.
This funding is dedicated to ensuring that all pupils, particularly those facing disadvantage, can thrive academically and personally. We are using it to:
Strengthen early literacy through additional phonics teaching.
Provide targeted teacher-led group work in English and Maths to accelerate progress.
Deliver small-group tuition with specialist Teaching Assistants to close learning gaps.
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and mental health so they are ready to learn.
Fund enriching educational visits that inspire pupils and raise the quality of their writing.
Our aim is to use this funding strategically to remove barriers, raise aspirations, and secure the best possible outcomes for every child
